Welcome to Out to Innovate's
One-Semester Online Mentoring

Out to Innovate, partnered with Great Minds in STEM, are pleased to offer these mentoring sessions – designed to connect LGBTQ+ students with LGBTQ+ STEM professionals who want mentoring on academic and professional success.

Once you are paired with STEM professional as your mentor, you will receive a new weekly topic to guide your discussion. Your mentoring session will conclude at the end of the 4-month period. You can choose to connect with your mentor via phone, text, email or videoconference at a time convenient for both of you.

What is covered in these mentoring sessions?

The focus this semester is on how to succeed in a STEM academic field, prepare for professional opportunities, and integrate LGBTQ+ identity into these professional endeavors.
